RPNM releases the following statement on the Primary Election results in New Mexico:

Albuquerque, NM - The highly-anticipated Primary Election has finally concluded in New Mexico. RPNM releases the following statement on tonight's results:

"If it wasn't clear before, it is now: Republicans are going to flip New Mexico red in 154 days," said RPNM Interim Chair, Mike Nelson. "Republicans all across our great state are ready to unite, organize, and work together until the general election in November.

Democrats at every level of public office have mismanaged our state in almost every way imaginable. Crime, homelessness, and drug use are out of control in New Mexico. Democrats have presided over an outrageous doctor shortage in nearly every New Mexico county, and our public school systems are in terrible shape. Rather than championing policies that would make life easier for hard-working New Mexicans, Democrats used this past legislative session as an ultra-far-left virtue signal. The hard-working families of our state just want safe communities, lower taxes, and less government infringement on their lives.

The upcoming midterm election will be the most critical election in the history of New Mexico, and Republicans across our state are energized and enthusiastic about bringing much-needed change to this state.

I'd like to congratulate all candidates who were successful tonight, and I would also like to thank all the other candidates who ran great campaigns but came up short. On to November!"
