The U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA) will host a virtual information session on Wednesday, July 29 at 11:30 a.m. ET to provide an overview of the new Fertilizer Investment & Expansion for Long-term Domestic Supply (FIELDS) Program and the application process.
The FIELDS Program is designed to strengthen the domestic fertilizer supply chain by supporting projects that expand U.S. fertilizer production, modernize existing facilities and improve long-term supply. The program includes at least $500 million in funding, with awards of up to $150 million available for eligible projects.
The webinar will cover program eligibility, eligible project types, the application process and provide an opportunity to ask questions of USDA staff.
