Catch Basin Cleaning on I-95 in Stamford, Darien, Norwalk and Westport

The Connecticut Department of Transportation (CTDOT) is announcing that catch basin cleaning will be performed on I-95 in Stamford, Darien, Norwalk and Westport. This project is scheduled to occur on Sunday, May 31 and be completed on Friday, August 14, 2026. The project DOT01703712CN consists of cleaning drainage structures to include catch basins.
This project is being performed by Staxx Construction Services.
LANE CLOSURE/DETOUR INFO
There will be various lane closures on I-95 from Exits 7 to 18 from Sunday, May 31 to Friday, August 22, 2026, during the hours of 7:00 p.m. to 5:00 a.m. Traffic control signing patterns. Crash Units, and State Troopers will guide motorists through the work zone.
Motorists should be aware that modifications or extensions to this schedule may become necessary due to weather delays or other unforeseen conditions. Motorists are advised to maintain a safe speed when driving in this area.
