Selected by ASLA's Board of Trustees, the honors represent the highest recognition ASLA bestows each year.
Today, ASLA is proud to announce its 2026 Honors recipients, highlighting some of the most noteworthy landscape architecture practitioners and firms nationwide. Selected by ASLA's board of trustees, the honors represent the highest recognition ASLA bestows each year.
These awards celebrate excellence, innovation, and leadership across the field of landscape architecture-recognizing projects and individuals that shape more resilient, inclusive, and beautiful communities. Contributions to the ASLA Fund help sustain this important recognition and ensure the profession continues to grow and reflect the values of equity, climate action, and design excellence.
Honors & Medals
Honorary Members
The four honorary members inducted by ASLA are non-landscape architecture professionals recognized for notable service to the profession. Since its inception in 1899, ASLA has inducted only 271 honorary members.
Outstanding Service Awards
The Outstanding Service Award was launched in 2013 and given annually to recognize volunteers who make notable contributions to or on behalf of the Society at the national level. Additionally, this year marks the first Dale Jaeger LAAB Outstanding Service Award to recognize a volunteer who makes notable contributions to or on behalf of the LAAB.
