On 19 - 20 May 2026, the regular meeting of Senior Officials of anti-narcotics agencies of member states of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO) was held in Bishkek under the chairmanship of the Kyrgyz side.
The parties summarized the outcomes of work by SCO working groups on anti-narcotics cooperation and discussed preparations for the upcoming Meeting of Heads of Competent Authorities of SCO Member States empowered to combat illicit drug trafficking.
