In the spirit of the holiday season, Big Apple Spine & Orthopedics (practice run by Dr. Grigoriy Arutyunyan and "the singing spine surgeon" Dr. Elvis Francois) today announced that they will be giving away 100 free clinic visits as part of their giving initiative this holiday season. The first free clinic date is November 18th, with a second scheduled December 16th.
Also serving as a sort of "welcoming gift" to New York from Dr. Francois (who previously practiced in Atlanta), the offer is open to any NYC resident experiencing neck pain, low back pain, or other spine pathology, and they will offer free clinic evaluations and, for select patients, surgical intervention if deemed medically appropriate.
Patients will be seen completely free of charge, with no concern about insurance coverage.
To register, patients will need to contact their office: https://bigapple-spine.com/
The motivation for the initiative, in Dr. Francois' own words: "So much has been poured into us as spine surgeons, and so much has been given to us throughout our training. We wanted to give the people of New York access to free, world-class spine care. This initiative is our way of giving back-a gift to the community in gratitude for all that has been invested in us during our journey as residents, fellows, and now spine surgeons."
In addition to his medical practice, Dr. Elvis Francois is a viral music breakout, having gained national attention during the pandemic with a cover of "Imagine" and followed by an appearance on The Masked Singer. He recently announced a holiday album, 'The Sounds of Christmas' dropping November 21, as well as his next EP 'Realignment' arriving on January 16th.
Additionally Dr. Elvis Francois is a humanitarian working with The Giving Organization to help support education for children in Haiti, and will be partaking in and performing at a charity gala on December 18th at The Level Restaurant (2775 Coney Island Ave, Brooklyn, NY 11235).
