Riparian After Dark Returns This December

Gilbert, AZ - One of Gilbert's favorite holiday traditions is back! Riparian After Dark returns to the Riparian Preserve at Water Ranch this December, lighting up the trails with thousands of lights and festive displays.

From December 12-22, 2025, visitors can stroll through the preserve between 5:30 PM and 9 PM to experience the magic of the season in one of Gilbert's most beautiful outdoor spaces.

This family-friendly event features over a mile of paved, accessible trails that wind through glowing trees and light installations.

"Riparian After Dark has become a special tradition for so many families, including my own," said Katie Dalton, one of the Event Coordinators for Riparian After Dark. "It's a chance to slow down, take in the lights, and enjoy the holidays together in Gilbert's most unique park."

Dates: December 12-22, 2025
Hours: 5:30-9:00 p.m. nightly
Location: Riparian Preserve at Water Ranch - 2757 E Guadalupe Rd, Gilbert
Tickets:

• $5 per person online (children 3 and under are free)
• $10 per person at the gate (as space allows)
• Online ticket sales close daily at 4:30 PM.
• The last entry time slot is 8:30 PM; no entry after 8:45 PM

Parking is available in the Southeast Regional Library parking lot. Please note that the preserve's main lot closes at 4:00 PM on event nights.

Warm drinks and treats will be available from local vendors each night, and food trucks will join the fun on weekends.
