Gilbert, AZ - The Gilbert Police Department is proud to announce that Cadet Ezekiel "Zeke" Aldana has been selected as a recipient of the Jaxon Foundation Scholarship. A graduate of Basha High School, Cadet Aldana is currently attending Grand Canyon University, where he is pursuing a degree in Forensic Science.
The Jaxon Foundation is a nonprofit established to honor Jaxon Landfair's legacy by fulfilling his wish to support future law enforcement professionals through dedicated scholarship opportunities. Cadet Aldana earned this scholarship through his dedication, strong character, and outstanding commitment to the Gilbert Police Cadet Program. His leadership and positivity have made him one of the program's most respected and admired members.

He leads with integrity, accountability, and a strong work ethic-qualities that set him apart among his peers," said Emily King, Youth Community Engagement Officer. "Zeke's positive attitude and willingness to support others have made him a role model within the Gilbert Police Cadet Program, earning the respect of fellow cadets and advisors. His dedication to learning, commitment to serving his community, and aspiration to enter public safety make him an outstanding recipient of the Jaxon Foundation Scholarship."
