Looking for free ways to play and connect? Goodyear offers exciting gaming options for residents of all ages - right at the Georgia T. Lord Library and the Goodyear Recreation Campus (GRC).
Teen Space at the Georgia T. Lord Library
Level Up at the Library
Teens ages 12-18 can head to the Teen Space on the second floor to play preloaded games on a Nintendo Switch or Xbox, hop on one of six computers, or just hang out and study.
Pro tip: Controllers are available at the front desk.
Library visitors can also check out more than 150 video games for Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4 & 5, and Xbox. The pilot program, the first of its kind in any Maricopa County Library District branch, earned a 2025 National Association of Counties Achievement Award and continues to grow thanks to community excitement.

The Goodyear Recreation Campus Teen Room takes gaming even further with VR and esports.
Pro tip: A Goodyear Recreation Center pass is required to access video game consoles, PCs and other equipment.
