Dechert Advises Aspirity Partners on Hoxton Wealth

Dechert advised Aspirity Partners, a pan-European private equity firm, on its commitment of US$135 million to Hoxton Wealth through a strategic minority investment. Hoxton Wealth is a technology-enabled international wealth management and financial advisory firm. The transaction represents Hoxton Wealth's first external investment since its founding in 2018.

The investment will support Hoxton Wealth's continued international expansion; recruitment of wealth advisers and planners; investment in senior leadership, processes and technology; and select strategic acquisitions. Headquartered in London and Dubai, Hoxton Wealth advises approximately 10,000 clients across 10 jurisdictions and manages more than US$5 billion in assets.

Completion of the transaction is subject to customary regulatory approvals.

The Dechert team that advised Aspirity Partners was led by corporate partners Joseph Dennis and Jarlath Pratt, supported by associates Freddy Bouttell, Maria Oniscu and Debaditya Datta; financial services partner Katie Carter and associate David Wang; finance partner Giles Belsey; and associate Liam Partridge.
