Dentons Lee's Kurt Gerstner, Senior Foreign Attorney, participated as a panel speaker at GAR Live: Seoul 2026, held on 29 October 2026 in Seoul as part of the Seoul ADR Festival 2026.

Organized by Global Arbitration Review (GAR), the conference brought together leading international arbitration practitioners, arbitrators, in-house counsel and industry professionals to discuss key developments and challenges in international arbitration.

Kurt Gerstner joined the panel session titled "Battle of the Experts," alongside Shul Park (Kim & Chang), Doug Jones (Independent Arbitrator), Innhwa Kwon (HD Korea Shipbuilding & Offshore Engineering) and Alexis Mourre (MCL Arbitration).

The session explored the role and management of expert evidence in international arbitration, addressing differences between common law and civil law approaches, tribunal-led versus party-led management of experts, the use of expert evidence across various types of disputes, and the role of counsel in shaping expert evidence.

With more than 40 years of experience in litigation and international arbitration, Kurt Gerstner has extensive experience working with expert witnesses in complex disputes across a wide range of industries.
