Director-General of TICA meets with ESCAP Director of Strategy and Programme Management Division

On 17 July 2026, Mr. Chulvat Narinthrangura, Director-General of Thailand International Cooperation Agency (TICA), welcomed Dr. Srinivas Tata, Director of the Strategy and Programme Management Division of the United Nations Economic and Social Commission for Asia and the Pacific (ESCAP), who paid a courtesy call on the occasion of assuming his duties, at the meeting room of TICA.

Dr. Tata expressed his appreciation to TICA for being a valued partner and for its continued support of ESCAP's work. The Director-General also thanked ESCAP for its contribution to the 11th TICA Connect which will be held on 24 July 2026 at Vites Samosorn, Ministry of Foreign Affairs. The two sides discussed ways to further strengthen cooperation, particularly in the area of South-South and Triangular Cooperation (SSTC), through the organization of the Asia-Pacific Directors General (APDG) Forum for South-South and Triangular Cooperation (SSTC) and the Annual Meeting of Emerging Development Partners (EDPs). The discussions also covered support for capacity-building programmes on Results-Based Management (RBM) and Monitoring and Evaluation (M&E), as well as the participation of TICA officials in the ESCAP Visiting Fellows for South-South Cooperation Programme. These initiatives aim to promote the exchange of knowledge, experiences, and best practices among development partners in the region.
