County Commissioners honor
Aberdeen officials upon their retirement
FREEHOLD, NJ - The Monmouth County Board of County Commissioners honored Aberdeen Township Mayor Fred Tagliarini and Aberdeen Township Councilman Joseph J. Martucci Sr. upon their retirement from public office during a Workshop Meeting on Dec. 11.
Certificates of appreciation were presented to Mayor Tagliarini and Councilman Martucci by Commissioner Director Thomas A. Arnone, on behalf of the Board.
"Congratulations to Mayor Tagliarini and Councilman Martucci upon their retirement after many years of dedicated service to the residents of Aberdeen Township," said Commissioner Director Arnone. "Public service is a calling that requires a commitment of significant time and effort. Mayor Tagliarini, who has served as mayor from 2009 to 2025, and Councilman Martucci, who has served on the Township Council from 2013 to 2025, have always displayed that singular commitment and have done their best on behalf of the residents of Aberdeen."
