Pickett, Baker Announce $499,900 Recreation Grant in Wyoming County

January 14, 2026

HARRISBURG - Rep. Tina Pickett (R-Bradford/Wyoming) and Sen. Lisa Baker (R-20) today announced $499,900 has been awarded to a recreation project in Wyoming County through the Pennsylvania Department of Conservation and Natural Resources' (DCNR) Community Conservation Partnerships Program (C2P2).

The grant will allow for construction of a trail, trailhead and retaining wall; ADA accessibility improvements; landscaping; signage; and other site upgrades as part of the development of the Joint Municipal Trail in Clinton Township and Factoryville Borough.
"Investing in our community means investing in the health and well-being of our residents," Pickett said. "This funding will provide more outdoor recreational opportunities for families and residents to enjoy."

"This project represents a terrific combination of conservation and recreation," said Baker. "We are fortunate to have local groups with the vision and energy to assemble and carry out a plan that contributes to the physical and mental health of area residents. This opens opportunities for folks of every age to enjoy the outdoors."

Funding for this round of C2P2 comes from the Keystone Fund, Environmental Stewardship Fund and other funding sources.
