HM the King Congratulates Democratic Republic of Congo President on Independence Day

His Majesty King Mohammed VI sent a message of congratulations to the President of the Democratic Republic of the Congo, Félix-Antoine Tshisekedi Tshilombo, on the occasion of the 66th anniversary of his country's Independence Day.

In the message, the Sovereign extended His heartfelt congratulations and warm wishes of happiness to President Tshisekedi Tshilombo and of continued prosperity to the Congolese people, affirming that the privileged bonds of fraternal friendship and solidarity between the Kingdom of Morocco and the Democratic Republic of the Congo pave the way for ever more ambitious prospects for cooperation in the service of the two peoples.

"I would also like to reaffirm My steadfast commitment to continuing, together with Your Excellency, our joint efforts toward a strengthened, lasting, and mutually beneficial partnership," HM the King writes.
