REP LIEU STATEMENT ON THREE-YEAR ANNIVERSARY OF OCTOBER 7 ATTACK

WASHINGTON - Today, Congressman Ted W. Lieu (D-Los Angeles County) issued the following statement on the three-year anniversary of the October 7th terrorist attacks in Israel.

"Three years have passed since the horrific terrorist attacks in Israel but the pain remains fresh for so many in my district and around the world. The heart-wrenching statistic we must never forget about that day: it was the worst mass murder of Jews since the Holocaust. I share in the sorrow of the victims of Hamas' brutality and every person who has lost a loved one during this devastating war.

"The impacts of that day have reverberated in ways that have fundamentally changed our world, and not for the better. I want desperately to see peace in the region. Israeli and Palestinian civilians deserve to live safely."
