The University of Toledo Ritter Planetarium will present two programs in February: "Big Astronomy: People, Places, Discoveries" and "A Teenager's Guide to the Galaxy."

"Big Astronomy: People, Places, Discoveries" explores world-class observatories in Chile, as well as the teams that operate them to enable cutting-edge discoveries.

The Ritter Planetarium will screen "Big Astronomy: People, Places, Discoveries" and "A Teenager's Guide to the Galaxy" through February.

It will screen at 7:30 p.m. Fridays through Feb. 27.

"A Teenager's Guide to the Galaxy," scripted and narrated by young adults affiliated with the Milwaukee Public Museum's Daniel M. Soref Dome Theater & Planetarium, explores the origins and fate of the universe, black holes and our sun.

It will screen at 1 p.m. Saturdays through Feb. 28.

Admission to planetarium shows is $8 for adults and $6 for children, senior citizens and UToledo community members. Children ages 3 and younger are free. Parking is free in Area 1N within 45 minutes of the beginning of planetarium shows.
