Bjørn Jensen and Fotheringham Earn America East Male and Female Rookie of the Week
Lasse Bjørn Jensen earned the America East Male Rookie of the Week, while was named the America East Female Rookie of the Week, the conference announced on Monday.
Bjørn Jensen and Fotheringham are the first Highlanders in program history to win America East Rookie of the Week awards.
Bjørn Jensen finished 20th with a personal-best four-mile time of 20:15.5 at the Main Line Invitational.
Fotheringham ran the fastest 5K time in program history while finishing fourth with a personal-best time of 17:46.2 at the Main Line Invitational.
NEXT UP
After a week off, NJIT will travel to Bethlehem, Pa. for the Paul Short Invitational on Friday, Oct. 3 at the Goodman Campus Cross Country Course.
