"We are proud to be recognized for our Agenda Management team's efforts to make local government more accessible and easier to navigate for every resident," said Reno City Manager Jackie Bryant. "By improving our systems, we are strengthening trust and keeping constituents more informed and engaged in the civic process."
The City worked to improve how residents find information about boards, commissions, and public meetings. A new public portal (Reno.gov/Boards) was created to consolidate City resources and streamline updates behind the scenes, allowing for more efficient service.
"Reno delivered a holistic improvement to how the public engages with its decision-making process, creating a seamless system where agendas, boards, and commissions finally feel connected. By pairing a unified public portal with smart internal workflows, the city reduced friction for residents while making staff work more predictable and sustainable," said Charlotte Lee, Granicus Director of CX & Innovation. "Their disciplined approach - consolidating content, rewriting standards, and simplifying navigation - created clarity where there was once complexity. Reno's work proves that Total Government Experience isn't about technology alone, but about building a structure that supports transparency, efficiency, and long-term community trust."
