The City of Reno, in partnership with Dean's Future Scholars at the University of Nevada, Reno and Bernice Mathews Elementary School, is excited to invite the community to the fourth annual Trunk or Treat event on Thursday, October 30 from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. at Teglia's Paradise Park (2745 Elementary Dr. Reno, NV 89512) in front of Bernice Mathews Elementary School.
This free, family-friendly event is open to children of all ages, offering an entertaining evening filled with treats, games, music, and more. Costumes are encouraged but not required to enjoy the Halloween-fun.
"This is an amazing opportunity for families to enjoy Halloween together in a safe and festive environment," said Reno Mayor Hillary Schieve. "We're excited to have everybody there, so come in costume, bring your candy buckets, and get ready for an evening full of sweets and celebration!"
In addition to the City of Reno team, there will be various participating organizations joining in on the fun. These include University of Nevada, Reno, Truckee Meadows Community College, Community Health Alliance, Communities in Schools, Boys & Girls Club of Truckee Meadows, Latino Arte and Culture, Tu Casa Latina, WakeupNV, Nevada Youth Empowerment Project, Join Together Northern Nevada, and more.
