The Hayward City Clerk's Office is increasing capacity for processing U.S. Passport applications and extending hours for appointments on Passport Day, Monday, Nov. 24, on the fourth floor of Hayward City Hall from 8:30 a.m. to 4 p.m.
Passport Day is an initiative by the City Clerk's Office to accept as many U.S. Passport applications as possible before the holiday travel season and to remind community members of the vital services the office provides to community members.
Community members must bring all completed application materials to their appointment at the City Clerk's Office. The Office only processes DS-11 U.S. Passport applications, which are available to first-time applicants, children under age 16 or those who don't meet requirements to renew a U.S. Passport. The Office does not provide U.S. Passport photo service at this time, so applicants must provide a recent color photograph with their application. For more information on the DS-11 application and required documents, please visit the U.S. Passport Application page on the City of Hayward website here.
Passport services are by appointment only and can be scheduled online here. For more information about the U.S. Passport program at the City of Hayward, contact the City Clerk's Office at (510) 583-4400.
