Cary, NC - The Town of Cary has issued its annual wastewater report, outlining the operation and performance of the collection and treatment system supporting Cary, Morrisville, Wake RTP, and RDU Airport.
The report provides:
Cary's wastewater system is comprised of 1,018 miles of pipelines and 42 pump stations that in Fiscal Year 2026 conveyed 7.18 billion gallons of wastewater. In Fiscal Year 2026, South Cary Water Reclamation Facility was recognized as a Partnership for Clean Water Director's Award recipient; Cary also finished the Wastewater Collection System Master Plan this fiscal year.
Hard copies of the report will be available at Cary Community Centers, the Garman Operations Center, and Town Hall. Stop by to pick up a copy and learn more about Cary's wastewater system and its performance. Residents can also request a copy of the report by mail by submitting a request at carync.gov/311.
