Bike Ride with the Mayors event
Join the Mayors of Lewisville, Corinth, and Denton for a community bike ride on Saturday, May 16, at 8 a.m.
This is a free, family-friendly event open to all ages. The bike riding event will start at the Highland Village/Lewisville Lake A-train Station, 2998 N. Stemmons Freeway, and follow the A-train Rail Trail from Lewisville to downtown Denton. The ride is 12.2 miles one way. Riders can choose to stop at any point and ride back or take the DCTA A-train south back to the starting point.
Riders should bring their bike, helmet, and water. Commons at Agora has bottle-filling stations for water refills. A brief bicycle safety demonstration will be provided right before the ride.
Parking is available onsite at the Highland Village/Lewisville Lake A-train Station and no registration is required.
