Nail Polish Remover recalled due to the detection of methylene chloride and chloroform in the affected product-both hazardous substances that are strictly prohibited in cosmetic formulations.

Recall Summary

Name of Product: Nail Polish Remover

Hazard: The nail polish remover was found to contain methylene chloride and chloroform, methylene chloride, in cosmetics, is a concern because it has been shown to cause cancer in animals and is likely harmful to human health. Methylene chloride is a prohibited ingredient which is not allowed in cosmetics at any level under FDA regulations.

Remedy: Refund

Consumers should stop using the recalled Nail Polish Remover immediately and clearly mark the product bottle and its outer packaging with the word "Recalled" in a prominent location. Subsequently, please safely dispose of the entire product (including the bottle and any remaining contents) in your regular household waste, in accordance with local waste disposal regulations.
