Minister Mauro Vieira will take part, on May 14 and 15, in the BRICS Foreign Ministers' Meeting in New Delhi. This will be the first meeting of the BRICS foreign ministers under the current Indian presidency, which succeeded the Brazilian presidency.
During the meeting, the Brazilian foreign minister will participate in three working sessions on the following topics: i) global and regional issues; ii) 20 years of BRICS, cooperation in resilience, innovation, and sustainability; and iii) reforms of the global governance and the multilateral system.
The outcomes of the foreign ministers' meeting in New Delhi will be presented to the leaders of the member countries during the 18th BRICS Summit, to be held in India, in September.
