Media invited to Moose Hide Campaign Day gathering at City Hall

The Moose Hide Campaign Day is hosted by the City of Edmonton and the Indigenous Sport Council of Alberta. This gathering brings together community members, leaders and organizations to stand against gender-based violence affecting Indigenous women, girls and Two-Spirit people.

The event includes speakers, cultural performances, opportunities for participants to take the Moose Hide pledge and wear a Moose Hide pin in support of ending violence.

Date: Thursday, May 14
Time: 1:30 - 3:30 p.m.
Location: City room, City Hall

Media will have opportunities to capture visuals throughout the event. Representatives from the City of Edmonton and the Indigenous Sport Council of Alberta will be available for interviews following the formal program at approximately 2:50 p.m.
