TODAY IN SF: Attorney General Bonta, City Attorneys of San Francisco, San Diego, and Los Angeles Hold Press Conference on $272.5 Million Settlement with Lyft
SAN FRANCISCO - California Attorney General Bonta alongside San Diego City Attorney Ferbert, San Francisco City Attorney Chiu, and Los Angeles Deputy City Attorney Crowell will hold a press conference TODAY IN SAN FRANCISCO AT 9 AM PT / 12 PM ET to announce a $272.5 million settlement with rideshare company Lyft, resolving allegations that between 2016 and 2020, Lyft committed wage theft by misclassifying drivers as independent contractors rather than employees.
