Wheeling University Students to Showcase Talents Monday Night

WHEELING, W.Va., March 27 - The talents of Wheeling University students will be showcased during a program Monday, March 30, inside Troy Theater.

Voices Across Borders: A Global Showcase will be a variety-style performance that will highlight international voices and cultural traditions, said William 'Butch' Maxwell, Program Lead for Communications department.

The performance will begin at 7 p.m., Monday in Troy Theater.

"Voices Across Borders will be an engaging and diverse program that reflects the global perspectives of our students," Maxwell added.

Scheduled performances include:

Jordan Krafft and Autumn King will perform the Phantom of the Opera duet and will sing individual solo pieces.

Two Ethiopian students Rediet Girma and Mieraf Abera will offer a presentation exploring Easter traditions and cultural practices

Ntsika Mduba from South Africa will give a monologue performance.

Ama Kwakyaa Abankwah from Ghana and Mapalo Kulenga from Zambia will offer readings.

The performance is free and open to the public.
