From 27 - 28 April 2026, H.E. Mr. Sihasak Phuangketkeow, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs, is scheduled to attend the 25th ASEAN - European Union Ministerial Meeting (AEMM), in Bandar Seri Begawan, Brunei Darussalam, upon the invitation of Brunei, as the current Country Coordinator for ASEAN - EU Dialogue Relations.

The AEMM is held every two years for Foreign Ministers from both ASEAN Member States and the EU, with the participation of the Secretary-General of ASEAN and High Representative for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy and Vice President of the European Commission (HR/VP) of the EU.

The upcoming meeting will discuss ways to advance ASEAN - EU Strategic Partnership across all priority areas and exchange views on key international and regional issues. It will also be part of the preparation for the commemoration of the 50th anniversary of ASEAN - EU Dialogue Relations in 2027.
