China Post EMS tops industry in key time limit indicators for two consecutive quarters

Recently, the Development & Research Center of the State Post Bureau released a special analysis report on time limit data for Q4 of 2025. The report conducted full big data analytics on time limits of nine leading express delivery brands including China Post EMS for their inter-city delivery service among 50 major cities, objectively reflecting the timeliness of the industry with full mail data. According to the findings of the analytics, China Post EMS achieved an end-to-end inter-city delivery time of 44.38 hours and a 72-hour delivery rate of 91.88 percent, with both key indicators ranking first in the industry. This is another industry-leading result, following the third quarter of 2025 when China Post EMS ranked first in the industry for these two key indicators. Consistently outperforming the industry average, China Post EMS has demonstrated its industry-leading timeliness.

Since the beginning of the year 2025, China Post EMS has focused on drawing up end-to-end operation plans. By accurately setting the time for checkpoints between city to city and county to county in each process and executing control at key checkpoints, it has finished preparing full-process operation plans for 200,000 routes. China Post EMS has promoted speeding up delivery service in the market of the 50 major cities and top 13 provinces designated by the State Post Bureau, and simultaneously made efforts to boost the speed of key delivery routes of Douyin platform, thus driving improvement in delivery efficiency and timeliness across the entire network with major breakthroughs. China Post EMS has also strengthened efforts of trans-regional networking. It has broken the limits of administrative divisions for an accumulated total of 1,185 cities, districts, counties and collection and delivery offices, and connected them to their nearest network, enabling the average full-process operation time in these areas to reduce by 25 hours. In the collection process, China Post EMS has guaranteed prompt mail collection and dispatch to eradicate delays. In the process of mail processing, it has ensured that each shift completes its work on time as required to eliminate delays. In the transportation process, it has reserved sufficient transport capacity resources to ensure 100 percent on-schedule operation of postal routes at all levels. In the delivery process, it has organized operations strictly according to the scheduled frequency plan to ensure timely delivery. Moreover, China Post EMS has strengthened IT empowerment and developed a tool for time limit diagnostic analytics to enable rapid diagnosis and in-depth analysis of problems, directly pinpoint overdue processes, causes of issues and accountable departments, and automatically generate time limit diagnostic reports. Consequently, such efforts have facilitated China Post EMS shifting from experience-based management to data-driven management, and effectively boosted the achievement of its time limit targets and continuous improvement of its platform indices.
