One-Way Traffic Controls Next Week

Tuolumne County - The California Department of Transportation (Caltrans) will have one-way traffic controls for construction and maintenance work on State Route 49 (SR-49) and SR-108 in Tuolumne County next week. Work is scheduled to occur as follows:

State Route 49

  • One-way traffic control at Sapphire Ridge Road for tree work on Wednesday, September 9, 2026, from 7:00 a.m. until 5:00 p.m.
  • Overnight, one-way traffic control between Montezuma Road and Rolling Hills Road for drainage work beginning Wednesday, September 9, through Friday, September 11, 2026, from 8:00 p.m. until 6:00 a.m.

State Route 108

  • One-way traffic control at Draper Mine Road for tree work on Thursday, September 10, 2026, from 7:00 a.m. until 5:00 p.m.
  • One-way traffic control between Coffil Road and East Long Barn Road for pavement work beginning Wednesday, September 9, through Friday, September 11, 2026, from 7:00 a.m. until 5:00 p.m.
  • One-way traffic control between Herring Creek Road and West Cow Creek Road for drainage work beginning Tuesday, September 8, through Thursday, September 10, 2026, from 8:00 a.m. until 4:00 p.m.

Motorists should expect 5-to-10-minute delays and use alternate routes whenever possible. All work is scheduled to occur as listed but is subject to change due to traffic incidents, weather, availability of equipment/materials, and construction-related issues.
