ATLANTA, GA - Today, Georgia Agriculture Commissioner Tyler J Harper announced that Georgia Ag Week will be celebrated March 23-29, 2026. The annual statewide celebration recognizes Georgia's No. 1 industry and honors the farmers, ranchers, foresters, and producers who drive the state's economy and sustain communities in every corner of Georgia.
"Georgia agriculture is more than an industry - it's the backbone of our state's economy, the bridge that connects Urban and Rural Georgia together as one, and, for our state's farm families, it is our way of life," said Commissioner Tyler J Harper. "During Georgia Ag Week, we proudly celebrate Georgia's #1 industry and the farm families who fuel its success and provide the food, fiber, and shelter all 11 million Georgians rely on, and we encourage all Georgians to do the same."
Georgia Ag Week provides an opportunity for media outlets, legislators, educators, industry partners, and community leaders to highlight the resilience and dedication of Georgia's agricultural community. A comprehensive media kit with event details, graphics, and promotional materials is available to support statewide participation and coverage.
