Womack Supports Bill to Lower Health Care Premiums for All Americans
WASHINGTON, D.C.-December 17, 2025… Today, Congressman Steve Womack (AR-3) issued the statement below regarding his support for the Lower Health Care Premiums for All Americans Act.
Congressman Womack said, "Our health care system needs reform to address rising premiums and overall health care costs. The Lower Health Care Premiums for All Americans Act represents a step in the right direction, aiming to fulfill its namesake through increased transparency measures and provisions that expand coverage choice and accessibility. Had I been in D.C. today, I would have voted in support of this legislation because I believe it is the starting point to deliver affordable health care to Third District Arkansans."
Due to a family member's serious medical issue, Congressman Womack was unable to be in D.C. to vote in support of H.R.6703, the Lower Health Care Premiums for All Americans Act. His support for the legislation and intended YES vote has been entered into the Congressional Record.
Congressman Steve Womack (AR-3) has represented Arkansas's Third Congressional District since 2011. He is a member of the House Appropriations Committee.
