Chiropractor Sentenced to 43 Months in Prison for $14.9 Million Health Care Fraud and Kickback Scheme Related to Durable Medical Equipment and Cancer Genetic Testing

NEWARK, N.J. - A Georgia chiropractor was sentenced to 43 months in prison for her role in a $14.9 million health care fraud and illegal kickback conspiracy, Senior Counsel Philip Lamparello announced. Teflyon Cameron, 59, of Powder Springs, Georgia, previously pleaded guilty before U.S. District Judge Michael E. Farbiarz on March 2, 2026, in Newark federal court to an Information charging her with conspiracy to commit health care fraud and conspiracy to violate the Federal Anti-Kickback statute.
