2026 State of the City and Community Conversation

The community is invited to attend the 2026 State of the City Address, hosted by the Western DuPage Chamber of Commerce, on Wednesday, March 18 from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at the Leman Middle School Cafetorium located at 238 E Hazel Street, enter door 8.

During this annual event, Mayor Daniel Bovey will reflect on West Chicago's progress over the past year and share updates on the initiatives, projects, investments, and community priorities shaping the City's future. The presentation will highlight key accomplishments from 2025, upcoming projects, economic development efforts, and continued work to strengthen quality of life for residents and businesses.

The evening will also include a town hall discussion, providing attendees with an opportunity to engage in community conversation. The Western DuPage Chamber of Commerce will provide light refreshments for guests. Translation services will be available during both the presentation and the town hall to help ensure the conversation is accessible to all members of the community.

Event Schedule

  • 6:00 p.m. - Doors open for networking and informal mingling
  • 6:30 p.m. - State of the City presentation by Mayor Daniel Bovey
  • 7:00 p.m. - Town hall discussion
  • 7:30 p.m. - Closing remarks followed by additional networking
  • 8:00 p.m. - Event concludes
