Award Wins and Catwalk Success at Graduate Fashion Week 2026

Following a successful UCA Epsom catwalk show, BA (Hons) Fashion Design student Pex Tan, was awarded as the Best Collection Winner with BA (Hons) Studio Practice (Fashion Design) Top-up student, Cheng En Kuek, receiving the Highly Commended Winner accolade.

Both students showed their collections on the catwalk across three shows, including two special catwalks for the Schools and Colleges' day, and appearing on the runway as part of the GFW26 Best in Show Finale gala.

The success continued for Charmaine Chong - BA (Hons) Studio Practice (Fashion Design) Top up, and Vlad Tabacaru - BA (Hons) Fashion Design. They were chosen from hundreds of entries to the Graduate Fashion Foundation (GFF) X Liberty Fabrics competition, with both looks featuring in the Liberty Fabrics catwalk show.

Vlad Tabacaru's designs were also chosen to be part of the Talent of Tomorrow Photoshoot, while one of his pre-collection looks went on display in the GFW entrance hall.

Two students from BA (Hons) Fashion Atelier & Tailoring - Frank Baskerville and Leah Brown, were chosen, from hundred of entries to show their collections in the GFW Menswear catwalk show.

And, BA (Hons) Fashion Design student Alana Sweet's collection was shortlisted for the GFF & F&F Design competition.
