The City of Carrollton will host its first Trinity Nights event on Friday, May 29, from 6 to 10 p.m. The new night market will feature music, entertainment, food, and shopping at the Trinity Mills Station Esplanade (1450 Sunrise Avenue).
The inaugural event marks the first public gathering in the new urban development and will offer an evening of local flavor, live music, and community spirit. Attendees can enjoy a variety of food trucks, browse goods from artisan vendors, and listen to live entertainment while dancing under the stars.
"Trinity Nights is an exciting opportunity to activate this new space and bring the community together in a fun and welcoming environment," Mayor Steve Babick said. "We're proud to introduce an event that celebrates local vendors, artisans, and musicians in the spirit of keeping Carrollton the community that families and businesses want to call home."
The Redwine Band will be performing on stage all evening with an energetic blend of Texas country favorites, Top 40s hits, and crowd-pleasing covers. Interactive activity sessions between musical sets will keep the energy flowing, inviting everyone to participate, connect, and make the night even more memorable. Guests of all ages are encouraged to attend, explore the new development, and enjoy an evening of entertainment, shopping, and dining.
The Trinity Mills Station Esplanade provides an open-air setting designed to encourage community connection. Trinity Nights will highlight the space's potential as a hub for future events, entertainment, and gatherings of all kinds and sizes. The three-acre grassy esplanade runs the length of the entire development comprising the area between the mixed-use EVIVA Trinity Mills luxury apartment homes and retail offerings to the south, and the Class-A Office building to the north. Guests of all ages are encouraged to attend, explore the new development, and enjoy an evening of entertainment, shopping, and dining.
"Trinity Mills Station's 25-acre site is the largest publicly owned transit-oriented development in North Texas and the most connected," Babick said. "It is also the only transfer hub in the DFW Metroplex connecting the Denton County Transportation Authority (DCTA) A-Train commuter service to Denton and the DART Green Line light rail service to Dallas."
Located at the southeast quadrant of the President George Bush Turnpike (PGBT) and IH-35E interchange, Babick said this premier development area has high visibility and the potential to be a gateway to Carrollton for not only the east-west traffic from PGBT, but also the north-south commuters from IH-35E. Highway and rail connections to Dallas Love Field and DFW International Airports can be made within 20 minutes, and DART's Silver Line Regional Rail is now only one stop away since its completion in December 2025.
