John Orange

As Senior Director of Storage Operations, John Orange combines scientific expertise, operational leadership and technology-focused problem-solving to support Alcami's storage operations across the New England campus.

John holds a Bachelor's Degree in Chemistry and a Master of Business Administration. His multidisciplinary career began in analytical bench chemistry and pharmaceutical laboratory operations before expanding into pharmaceutical facility startup projects, validation and supply chain operations. He brings approximately 18 years of experience working in the pharmaceutical industry.

Throughout his career, John has led teams across validation, calibration, storage, business development, project management and facilities. He has also guided four software implementation projects, most recently Alcami's implementation of SAP S/4HANA.

In his current role, John oversees storage operations across Alcami's New England campus, working alongside project management, facilities and HVAC teams. He also leads the SAP implementation for the PSS division through hypercare and beyond, while serving as a business partner between IT and PSS. In this capacity, he helps translate operational requirements into technical deliverables that support the business and its customers.

For John, the most rewarding aspect of working at Alcami is the dedication he sees across the organization.

Outside of work, John is passionate about automation, electronics, woodworking, mineralogy and gardening. He is also a proud father of three daughters and enjoys sharing these interests with them. Together with his wife and daughters, he is part of a pet-loving family that enjoys traveling and creating new memories.
