A Canadian Armed Forces member holds a young child, recognizing the important role military children play within CAF families during the Month of the Military Child.

Children from military families are an integral part of the Canadian Armed Forces community. From an early age, they are introduced to a unique way of life shaped by deployments, parental absences, frequent relocations, and constant change.

Throughout the Month of the Military Child, we recognize and celebrate the strength, resilience, and adaptability of these children, as well as their often-unseen sacrifices.
