New Product: Chem-Gard® 250 Multi-Conductor Cable

Chem-Gard® 250 Multi-Conductor is our latest cable designed for control and instrumentation applications. This high-performance cable is engineered to withstand extreme temperatures and harsh chemical environments, setting a new industry benchmark.

The Chem-Gard® 250 Multi-Conductor Cable is approximately 40% smaller in diameter than typical SOOW cables, making it an excellent choice for use in areas with restricted space and in conduit. It features a copolymer PFA jacket, providing exceptional resistance to chemicals, abrasion, and high heat. With a maximum conductor temperature of 250°C (482°F), this cable is ideal for demanding applications where reliability and durability are paramount.

Key Features and Benefits:

  • Finely Stranded Nickel-Plated Copper Conductors: Enhances flex-life and reduces conductor fatigue and breakage while offering high heat resistance.
  • Specially Compounded PFA Insulation: Delivers high dielectric, tensile, and mechanical properties, with superior resistance to oils, coolants, acids, and most chemicals.
  • High-Temperature Fillers: Prevents contaminants from wicking into the cable and allows conductors to move freely within the jacket, improving flex-life in dynamic applications.
  • Specially Compounded PFA Jacket: Provides superior resistance to oils, acids, solvents, and chemicals, and excellent defense against cutting and abrasion.
