Linn County Earns National Communication Award

Linn County was honored with a second place Silver Circle Award from the City-County Communications & Marketing Association (3CMA) for its Writing Style Guide. The Writing Style Guide is an internal document for employees to use to help ensure their communication with the public is clear and customer-centered.

The 3CMA Savvy Awards honor outstanding local government achievements in communications, public-sector marketing, and resident-government relationships. This year, more than 1,100 entries across 37 categories were submitted, showcasing the best work from local governments of all sizes. Every entry is reviewed and judged by peers who understand both the challenges and the creativity required to effectively engage communities.

This is the seventh national communication award that Linn County has received from 3CMA.
