BOZEMAN - Rural leaders from across Montana will gather for the third annual Reimagining Rural Roadshow on Wednesday, Oct. 7, in Winnett to share big ideas and ignite small-town inspiration. Interested individuals are invited to register now.
"The roadshow brings rural leaders and resource partners together where the work is actually happening, creating connections, sharing practical ideas and reminding us that small communities are capable of big things," said Jennifer Anderson, MSU Extension community vitality associate specialist and event organizer.
The event will be hosted by Winnett ACES. It is scheduled to be held from 9:10 a.m. to 3 p.m. and will include the following:
Anyone interested in strengthening the future of rural Montana, including elected officials, community volunteers, school or hospital administrators and local advocates, is encouraged to attend, Anderson said.
"We encourage participation from government agencies, funders, nonprofits, economic and community development organizations, and other resource partners serving rural Montana," Anderson said.
Check-in opens at 9:10 a.m. at the Petroleum County Community Center, 207 E. Main St., followed by the tour and presentations from 10 a.m. to noon. Afternoon roundtable discussions and panel sessions will be held from 12:45 to 3 p.m. Registration is $10 per person, payable by credit card or check. Lunch and refreshments are included.
