WASHINGTON - Today, President Donald Trump invited U.S. Senator Bill Cassidy, M.D. (R-LA) and Senate Republicans to the White House for breakfast to discuss the issues facing our country, including finding an end to the Schumer Shutdown.
"Another great visit with President Trump. I appreciate his continued friendship," said Dr. Cassidy. "The President is focused on fulfilling an agenda to benefit our country. I share that focus."
Recently, Cassidy joined President Trump at the White House to celebrate Louisiana baseball and again to discuss advancing nominations through the U.S. Senate and an end to the Schumer Shutdown.
