JBT Donates $10,000 to Lebanon Valley Family YMCA, Gretna Theatre

Jonestown Bank & Trust Co. (JBT) recently donated $10,000 to both Lebanon Valley Family YMCA and Gretna Theatre as part of the PA Educational Improvement Tax Credit Program.

Lebanon Valley Family YMCA plans to use the donation to continue to strengthen the Lebanon Valley community and provide innovative opportunities for youth to learn, grow, and thrive.

"We are deeply grateful to Jonestown Bank & Trust Co. for their generous support through the Pennsylvania Educational Improvement Tax Credit Program," said Bill Zazynski, Chief Executive Officer of the Lebanon Valley Family YMCA. "This investment allows us to continue expanding high-quality, innovative programs that help children and families build confidence, learn new skills, and thrive. Partnerships like this strengthen our community and ensure that all youth have access to opportunities that shape a healthier, brighter future."

For Gretna Theatre the donation will assist their family education program, including the theatre's Kids Series which introduces live theatre to children, many for the first time. Shows are often based on popular books which helps encourage youth literacy.

"We are grateful for JBT's continued support of the services Gretna Theatre provides to our shared central Pennsylvania community," said Michael Philip O'Brien, Gretna Theatre's Producing Artistic Director. "This gift will help to fund Gretna Theatre's Touring Outreach and Educational Programming and make it possible for us to continue promoting literacy and learning through the magic of live theatre."
