Gov. Reynolds signs list of bills into law on May 6th

Today, Governor Kim Reynolds signed the following bills into law:
HF 523: A bill for an act relating to the ability of peace officers to file a petition for emergency protective orders on behalf of persons seeking relief from domestic abuse.
HF 648: A bill for an act relating to a licensed sedation provider host permit for a dentist.
HF 703: A bill for an act concerning information regarding certain state and federal student loan programs.
HF 2256: A bill for an act exempting a parent's or legal guardian's inability to access appropriate behavioral or mental health treatment for their child from the definition of child abuse.
HF 2360: A bill for an act relating to child endangerment.
SF 2280: A bill for an act relating to the safety of persons in certain professions involved with the judicial system, including authorizing a member of the general assembly, judicial officer, attorney general, deputy attorney general, or assistant attorney general to be issued a professional permit to carry weapons, establishing the criminal offenses of threatening and the malicious sharing of personal information of a general assembly member or a judicial officer or a general assembly member's or a judicial officer's immediate family, and considering true threats to public officials as harassment, and providing penalties.
SF 2296: A bill for an act relating to digital financial kiosks, modifying civil penalties, and including effective date and applicability provisions.
SF 2379: A bill for an act relating to victim protections including victim counselors, protective orders, sex offender registration, rights of sexual abuse victims, mental competency and civil commitment, restitution, and victim rights, and including effective date provisions.
