Homecoming 2026 Offers Something for Everyone

The Millersville University community will celebrate Homecoming 2026 on Saturday, Oct. 17, bringing students, alumni and community members together for a day of activities across campus. Saturday's events will include the annual Millersville Homecoming Parade, Maker's Market and Block Party.

The day will begin with the Millersville Parade from 8:30 to 10 a.m. along George Street in Millersville. The parade will feature marching bands, floats, vintage cars, dancers, and other groups from the University and the surrounding community.

Following the parade, the Maker's Market will take place from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. in the Student Memorial Center and Reighard MPR. The market will feature dozens of vendors along with student and alumni entrepreneurs offering handmade goods, books, jewelry, candles, pottery, and other products. Sponsored by the Lombardo College of Business, the event gives students and local vendors an opportunity to showcase their businesses and products.

The Block Party will also run from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. in the SMC yards. The event will include affinity reunions, giveaways, food trucks and local businesses. Campus clubs and organizations, as well as nonprofit organizations from the community, will also be represented.

The Homecoming Football Game features the Marauders taking on Kutztown University at 2 p.m. Tickets are available at the Biemesderfer Stadium gate.

For Joshua R. Belice '08, '10M, director of alumni engagement and an alum himself, Homecoming stands out because of the way it brings different parts of the Millersville community together.

"What I like about Homecoming is it is one of the few days each year when the full Millersville community comes together," Belice says. "The parade, reunions, Block Party, Maker's Market and football games are all wonderful, but what makes the day special is seeing alumni, students, faculty, staff, volunteers and community members celebrating together. Homecoming reminds me that being a Marauder is a lifelong connection and not something that just stops once you walk across the stage."
