Overnight lane closures on EB/WB I-70 in Jackson County for pavement repair work, Tomorrow - May 22

JACKSON COUNTY - The Missouri Department of Transportation will conduct overnight lane closures on eastbound and westbound I-70 for pavement repair work. All work is weather permitting. See below for traffic modifications:

Tuesday, May 19 (TOMORROW) until Friday, May 22 between 7p and 7a

• Crews will close a single lane on I-70 EB at 18th St (mm 4.4).
• Crews will close a single lane on I-70 WB at 23rd St (mm 5.3).

Motorists are reminded to slow down and pay attention while driving in work zones. Not all work zones look alike. They can also be short term, temporary lane closures to make quick repairs or remove debris from the roadway.
