City of Palm Bay Utilities – Water Service Interruption UPDATE

PALM BAY, FLORIDA (November 3, 2026): The City of Palm Bay Utilities Department is providing an update regarding the water main break along Port Malabar Boulevard NE.

The affected area has been expanded to include additional customers, as shown on the updated map.

Some customers within the affected area may currently have water service, while others remain without water. Crews are working to restore service to affected customers as conditions allow.

IMPORTANT: All customers within the highlighted area of the updated map are under a Precautionary Boil Water Notice, regardless of whether their water service has been interrupted.

Customers who currently have water service, as well as those whose service is restored, should take the following precautions:

  • Bring all water used for drinking, cooking, making ice, brushing teeth, or washing dishes to a rolling boil for at least one minute before use.
  • Bottled water may be used as an alternative.
  • Continue boiling water until the City officially rescinds the notice.

Due to ongoing flooding and unsafe conditions, crews may experience delays in completing repairs and restoring service. Water service will be restored as soon as conditions allow crews to safely complete the necessary work.

The Precautionary Boil Water Notice will remain in effect until required water quality testing confirms the water is safe to drink and the City officially rescinds the notice.

We understand the inconvenience this causes, particularly during the ongoing flooding, and appreciate your patience as crews work to restore service safely.

Additional updates will be provided as conditions change.
