DATA MODUL introduces new Innolux MiniLED TFT Displays delivering OLED-class image performance

DATA MODUL has expanded its display portfolio with Innolux MiniLED backlit TFT displays delivering OLED-class image performance while eliminating typical OLED limitations such as image sticking and shorter operating life. The new MiniLED displays provide the reliability and longevity required for demanding industrial environments.

The lineup ranges from 3.5 to 23.8 inches, with larger formats up to 42 inches in development. Available with MiniLED direct backlight or local dimming, the displays offer higher contrast, improved readability, and lower thermal load compared with conventional edge-lit TFT solutions. With brightness up to 2,000 cd/m², they remain clearly visible even in high ambient light or direct sunlight.

Advanced local dimming with HDR2000 and >1,000,000:1 contrast

The MiniLED local dimming variants incorporate an integrated TCON smart IC that reduces Mura, improves black uniformity, and enables deep-black image reproduction. These displays now support contrast ratios greater than 1,000,000:1 and HDR2000 performance levels - making them particularly well suited to applications requiring precise image differentiation, realistic rendering of dark content, and consistent quality across the entire panel.

Energy efficiency and industrial reliability

Compared with standard edge-lit TFT solutions, MiniLED backlighting allows for a thinner, lighter design and reduces thermal load. Energy savings of 30 to 50% are achievable. The displays deliver a rated lifetime of more than 50,000 hours, feature industrial-grade build quality and product availability, making them ideal for mission-critical deployments.

Ideal for EV charging, marine, medical, and outdoor use

With their combination of high brightness, long lifetime, and excellent image stability, the Innolux MiniLED TFT series is particularly well suited to:
