Yeri will share reflections on leadership, community, and the importance of investing in the flourishing of our region. We look forward to gathering as an FPU community to celebrate Hispanic Heritage Month and pray together for our students, families, institutions and the broader Central Valley.

The history of a federally recognized Hispanic Heritage celebration date back to 1968 when President Lyndon Johnson signed into law National Hispanic Heritage Week. This was expanded to a month in 1988 under legislation signed by President Ronald Reagan.
